Maylands Travel Survey 2020
In October 2019, Dacorum Borough Council with the Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership, Hertfordshire County Council and St Albans Districts Council commissioned a sustainable travel consultancy, Go Travel Solutions, to update the Maylands Area Wide Travel Plan and deliver some pilot projects. There is significant growth planned over the coming decades in the Maylands area, with up to 8,000 new jobs forecast in the new Hertfordshire IQ enterprise zone and up to 12,000 new homes in the Hemel Garden Communities. It is important to plan now and commence the journey for a significant shift to sustainable transport methods to encourage people out of their single occupancy cars and offer attractive, efficient alternatives to reduce the risk of congestion and ensure that Maylands is still an attractive place to do business.
To understand the needs of your business, the Council are conducting a short survey into travel needs for your staff and business. This work will give them essential baseline information to prioritise work, shape strategies, seek funding and deliver some pilot projects. They need your help to make this project a success. Please complete the short surveys detailed below.
Staff Survey
Responses are needed from as many staff working on the Maylands Business Park as possible to ensure that solutions planned meet your needs. Please complete this survey and forward it to any colleagues or contacts based on Maylands.
