National Specials Weekend 2020

Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June is National Specials Weekend 2020 and this year’s theme is ‘Thank You’.

As such, the team at Dacorum want to show their appreciation for all our local NHS workers and carers who have been tirelessly working to protect us from #COVID19.

Members of the Special Constabulary will be volunteering this weekend to visit any NHS workers or carers that would like some crime prevention advice. Let them help protect you.

They can provide guidance and even crime prevention accessories for any vulnerable OWL members to help prevent burglary and thefts from handbags.

If you have a pedal cycle then they would like to come and talk to you about Bike Register and mark your bike to prevent cycle theft and assist in bike recovery.

If you are an NHS worker or a care worker and would like a visit this weekend then please send your name, address and a contact number to: SNTKingsLangleyandHemelHempsteadSouthEast@Herts.pnn.police.uk by 2pm on Friday 5 June 2020 so the great team of Specials can look to pop in and see you over the weekend.
