The Old Town is great place to stop off for lunch – just like Nicola Walker’s character during episode two of Marriage. The new BBC One drama was shot at various locations in Hemel Hempstead.
Filming is becoming increasingly popular in Dacorum due to our proximity to world-class filming studios and to London. According to Creative England, revenue from film days all over the borough last year was estimated at over £5m and a high percentage of that filters back into the local economy.
Bellway Homes donated their filming fee from Marriage to two local charities, with £500 each going to Herts Young Homeless and Emmaus Hertfordshire – providing extra benefits for our community.
