Did you think Pantomime was all about singing, dancing and rhyming? In order for the magic to happen on stage it needs to happen off stage first.
This year’s HHTheatreCo Pantomime, Mother Goose, has a very talented Wardrobe Mistress who has taken on the task of costuming over twenty five cast members but she cannot do it alone. She would appreciate some volunteers to help her with this challenge. So if you’ve ever fancied sewing on a sequin or shopping for Dame’s shoes, this is your chance. Duties would include:
- Assisting in the design and creation of original costumes
- Adapting and altering existing costumes
- Shopping in store and online for fabric and costumes
The performers are already rehearsing and though December may seem a long time away, time moves quickly when there’s a show to get ready. So don’t be shy, volunteer now and be part of something fabulous.
HHTheatreCo are also on the lookout for other backstage helpers to assist with set creation, lighting, sound, and innumerable other jobs.
