Quanta, part of QCS Staffing, is delighted to announce its most recent achievement – the Excellence in People Development award given at this year’s Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards at the Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden.
As a specialist recruitment company dedicated to the development and wellbeing of its employees, Quanta is incredibly proud to be recognised as ‘an excellent example of best practice’ at the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce’s annual business awards.
Quanta offer business and staffing solutions to leading employers worldwide within the Life Sciences, Renewable Energy, Data Centre and IT industries, with a set of core values that embeds people development firmly at the heart of its culture. This is not the first time its outstanding employee development activities and strategies have been acknowledged; in 2018 they received the prestigious Princess Royal Training Award as a recognition of their continuous commitment to their team.
Its ‘One Team’ ethos means that Quanta celebrates every team member for their outstanding performances, rewarding not just the achievements of top performers or highest billers, but everyone throughout the business who makes its success possible.
David Broome, CEO at Quanta, says: ‘This is a real celebration of all that is great about Quanta and our staff. It truly is an award for all. For everybody who embraces learning, for those involved in the delivery of our staff inductions, our FastTrack programmes, industry learning and advanced learning, those wo mentor and deliver peer enhancement group sessions, to those who teach a language, our external training partners (Brad Shackleton in particular), and for all the people development completed each and every day. I would also like to give a special mention to two incredible colleagues who oversee and deliver so much of our learning and development at Quanta: Emma Fowler and Debbie Lloyd-Smith. We thank you for what you do every day.’
Quanta was commended for its employee development opportunities, including its three bespoke training programmes (Fast Track to Delivery Executive, Fast Track to Sales, and Fast Track to Future Leadership). Quanta also provides language tuition to help employees gain skills and confidence to communicate with overseas clients and partners as well as providing its employees with numerous health and wellbeing benefits.
Briege Leahy, CEO of Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce, said: ‘I commend the organisation for its clear vision for people management and development. It is evident how Quanta is effectively leveraging its people as a key resource. What’s more, it does this through providing an impressive range of people development activities, support and resources.
‘Quanta has clearly demonstrated a consistently high investment in its people development strategy, and this can be clearly seen in the growth and success of the organisations. The breadth and depth of this throughout the organisations should be recognised as an excellent exemplar of best practice.’
