Recycling Centre Moves to Winter Opening Hours

From 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, the opening hours for the Hemel Hempstead recycling centre on Eastman Way, HP2 7DU change to the winter opening times of 8am-4pm.

This centre will remain closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

From 1 April 2022, summer opening times of 10am-6pm will resume.

The Berkhamsted recycling centre on Northbridge Road, HP4 1EF remains open 08.30am-4.30pm every day except Thursdays and Fridays.

It is possible to check for queues, locations, opening times and accepted items at all Hertfordshire County Council recycling centres by visiting: www.dacorum.gov.uk/recyclingcentres.

Residents who plan to visit the recycling centre in a van or trailer will need to apply online for an instant, digital van permit. Permits are free and are valid for 12 visits within a 12 month period. Business waste is not currently accepted at recycling centres. Only a limited amount of DIY waste is accepted.
