Rotary Young Photographer Competition 2023

Congratulations to Josh Clarke for winning the national intermediate (age 11 to 13) category in this year’s Rotary Young Photographer competition, with his photo ‘Reflecting on Architecture’. Up against entries from across the country, Josh’s image of the London skyline came through as the winner.
This achievement ends this year’s competition, where youngsters between the ages of 7 and 18 demonstrated their photographic abilities by taking a portfolio of photos on the theme ‘The Beauty of Architecture’. In Dacorum, there were 22 entries from over 8 different schools and organisations. It was a very successful year, with this area winning both the Junior and Intermediate categories and achieving 2nd place in the Senior category at Rotary District level (Herts, Beds and Bucks).
You can see all the winning and commended entries at the Open Door café in Berkhamsted, where an exhibition is taking place until 10 June.
Details of next year’s competition will be released on the Berkhamsted Rotary website (www.berkorotary.org) and through schools in September.
