Rugby teams win in style

ATL Women’s Rugby proudly wearing their new Milbank-sponsored kit following their County Cup and Festival of Rugby wins

The ATL Women’s Rugby teams, based at Tring Rugby Club, have kicked off the season in style, winning two county cups and taking the title at the RAF Girls Festival of Rugby (Halton 2025).

Their strong start to the season has been boosted by a new sponsorship from Milbank, whose support has provided the players with their first-ever matching, female-fit kit. For many of the players, this is the first time they’ve had a properly fitted, female-cut kit – a big step up from the hand-me-down shirts they’d previously worn.

‘It’s great to get local support – not just for the players, but for their parents and coaches too, who feel a great sense of pride,’ said a team spokesperson. ‘With Milbank’s help, we’ve been able to buy a kit that truly represents our club. The girls feel more comfortable, confident, and professional – and they look fantastic on game day.’

The club’s U14s captain, Tabbie, added: ‘It felt more professional and we were finally playing in kit that fitted us. It made us look smarter and play better!’
