Save the Plough at Potten End

Living Magazines Save The Plough Potten End

An update from Joe Roberts of the The Plough Pub Potten End Community Interest Company.

Over the last month or so the Project Proposal for The Plough public house in Potten End has been with potential investors. We have been encouraged by the response we have received so far but we also aware that some people have asked us questions and wish to see further detail before they commit to save this much-valued asset for the community.

Alongside this, with the moratorium period coming towards its end on 11 November, now is the time to present our business plan to the community, to answer questions and to talk about our next steps moving forward, garnering further support and financial pledges.

Therefore we are hosting a meeting via Zoom (details on how to access below) on Monday 5 October at 7pm and anyone is welcome to attend.

The plan is to release the financial model on Friday so you all have the weekend to look over it before presenting the business plan at the meeting on Monday. You can come with any questions you may have but if you would like any specifically answered please reply to this email in advance so we can make sure it is addressed in the presentation.

If you are unable to make the meeting but would like to receive the business plan and have a conversation with one of the directors, please get in contact with us – communityplough@hotmail.com.

Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible on Monday, Joe Roberts.
