SEN Schools Offered Access to Leisure Activities

Absolutely Together, a leading charity dedicated to enriching the lives of families with children and young adults with additional needs, is delighted to announce an exciting new initiative aimed at special educational needs schools across Dacorum.

From the beginning of this school year, Absolutely Together is offering these schools the incredible opportunity to enjoy free weekly access to Hemel Hempstead-based The XC, Little Hay Golf Complex and Our Gym. These venues are operated by Dacorum Sports Trust, which is now part of the Absolutely Together family. This partnership marks a significant step towards providing inclusive and enjoyable experiences for all members of the local area.

Multi-activity centre The XC boasts a state-of-the-art climbing wall that will provide a thrilling experience for students with additional needs. An adaptive harness is available, meaning young people with a wide range of abilities can enjoy the climbing wall.

Little Hay Golf Complex offers engaging disc golf and footgolf courses that not only encourage physical fitness but also provide an opportunity for social interaction and skill development.

At Our Gym, schools can make use of a wide range of state-of-the-art equipment that can help young people increase their activity levels and improve concentration.
