Spotlighting Our Small Businesses
Love your local business by supporting them not only on Small Business Saturday on 7 December, but throughout the year.
Small Business Saturday is a nationwide campaign to support, inspire and promote the UK’s 5.8 million small businesses. The aim is to encourage consumers to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses in their communities.
The day itself takes place on the first Saturday in December each year, but the campaign aims to have a lasting impact on small businesses.
Now in its 12th year in the UK, the campaign has grown significantly year on year encouraging millions to shop small.
You’ll already be familiar with the ‘Shop Local’ feature in our magazines, which appears in every issue and is free for local retailers to participate, but in this feature we’d like to remind you about supporting your local services and B2B as well.
