The Further Adventures of Peter Pan

Andy Collins as Smee in Peter Pan at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre

Ahoy panto lovers, or should we say lubbers! Aylesbury Waterside Theatre’s piratical pantomime The Further Adventures of Peter Pan: The Return of Captain Hook is on sale now, and the first message is out of the bottle! Panto favourite Andy Collins will return for his 13th year to play the hilariously silly, playfully loveable shipmate, Smee. Opening on Fri 6 Dec 2024 and running until Sun 5 Jan 2025, this year’s must-see production promises all the usual trademark fun that last year’s record-breaking audiences have come to know and love.

Known for waking up Herts, Beds and Bucks on the BBC 3 Counties Breakfast Show, Andy is no stranger to panto land and returns hot off the tail of the Waterside’s most popular pantomime to date. King of slapstick and belly laughs, Andy’s relentless energy and timeless routine The 12 Days of Christmas will be setting sail this Christmas hooking pantogoers new and old once more.

Andy says of his return: ‘Rumour has it, my official announcement is the world’s worse kept secret (thanks to my motormouth!) What can I say, some things are just too hard to keep under wraps. I will forever shout from the rooftops when I’m back in my hometown doing what I love most. I’m so proud of everything the Waterside panto has become. We may only be 2 months into the year, but let it be known, the ideas for this year’s show are already flying, and I can’t wait to see your faces when you see this year’s incredible production. It’s a retelling of Peter Pan perfect for a modern day audience with all the best bits of panto magic to boot. See you there!’

Set sail for Aylesbury for a swashbuckling Christmas with galleons of fun, incredible flying effects, audience interaction galore and… of course, a tick-tocking croc!
