The Pepper Show 2023

Living Magazines The Pepper Show

The longest-running live music theatre show in home counties – The Pepper Show – returns in October 2023 for its 34th year.

The Pepper Show is the flagship fundraising event of the Pepper Foundation charity and is a musical institution that has been entertaining audiences since 1989.

The show returns to The David Evans Pendley Court Theatre Tring, Herts, performing six shows – five evening performances and a Saturday afternoon matinee – from Tuesday 10 to Saturday 14 October 2023.

2023 will be the biggest Pepper Show production since its post-pandemic comeback in 2021. The show features a cast of over 30, performing an ambitious set list of pop and rock anthems from across the decades. Every song has been specially arranged for the choir and performed impeccably by the house band. We’re absolutely sure there’s something in the show to please everyone’s ears!

Also returning in 2023 is the full Pepper youth choir. For 30 years the show has played an important part in fostering musical talent within the community, providing the opportunity for children aged 8 to 17 to learn about music performance and gain experience with experienced performers in a theatre setting.

Putting on the Pepper Show every takes time and dedication. Over fifty people – singers, musicians, lighting engineers, sound engineers, front-of-house staff, back office, and musical directors – give nine months of their spare time to bring the show alive.

The cast and house band draw on vocal and musical talent from across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire and stands shoulder to shoulder with anything found in the West End.

Tickets start from £15 are available from the Pepper Show Box Office: thelittleboxoffice.com/pepper/event/view/180620
