Berkhamsted is the top town in the south-east for quality of life, according to the Sunday Times on 18 March.

Our town came out on top in a survey that looks at a wide range of factors: schools, jobs, shops, community etc. ‘

Berkhamsted is affluent and attractive; its medieval centre is filled with chic shops and great places to eat,’ said the entry in the new Best Places to Live in Britain supplement.
