Dacorum’s Tourism Partnership looks forward to a busy winter and spring 2016 as it steps up its bid to boost visitor numbers – in the borough in general and to Tring in particular.
Ben Marston talked about plans for Tring under the heading Destination Tring. He pointed out that he was involved in three businesses – a design consultancy, Tring Brewery and the Puddingstone distillery – ‘all of which will benefit from tourism’.
Acknowledging that information for tourists was fragmentary, he said Destination Tring would try to create a single source of information by working with Visit Chilterns and Chilterns AONB: ‘They are good, trusted websites with good databases and they generate visits,’ he said. There will also be a Visit Tring brand. ‘We need to offer visitors plenty of scope in what they can do here,’ Ben said.
