Tring’s annual firework fest will return to Tring Park Cricket Club on Saturday 6 November. The event, which was unable to run last year because of the pandemic, will feature an array of fantastic food and drink stalls, a guy competition, light background music and children’s rides. The centrepiece of the evening will be some spectacular fireworks display set to popular classics.

Approximate running times are as follows:

  • 6pm – Doors open: Food stalls and Beer Tent, Carousels, Sparkler area
  • 6.30pm – Winner of the Tring Guy Competition. Lighting of the bonfire with mini display.
  • 7.15pm – Main Fireworks display commences to music
  • 7.45pm – Rides, music, food and drink continue
  • 8.30pm – Close

A trio of local businesses are yet again supporting the show: The Akeman, Tring Brewery and the Little Crickets Day Nursery.

Alex Ford, Managing Director of Oakman Inns, owners of The Akeman in Tring, has supported the event since its modern-day inception five years ago: ”The Festival of Fire is one of many high-quality fixtures in the Tring calendar, which we are delighted to support. Fireworks followed by dinner at The Akeman is a great November night out.’

Cricket Club Chairman Nick Wake is pleased the event can return this year: ‘The fireworks night makes a vital contribution to maintaining a wonderful community sports facility and we are delighted to get the show back on in 2021. Tickets are on sale online now and we advise those intending to come, to buy early as, for safety reasons, there will be a strict cap on numbers.’

Discounted tickets can be purchased from now until a week before the event via the website: www.tringfireworks.co.uk. Families (two adults and up to 3 children under sixteen) can save £4 by buying in advance at the saver rate of £18. Under five-year-olds have free entry.
