Tring Loneliness and Social Exclusion Initiative

Over 50 people attended the introductory meeting to tackle loneliness and isolation in Tring, Hertfordshire, on Wednesday 12 September at the High Street Baptist Church – with representation from various Tring and Dacorum organisations, plus interested individuals. Talks were given by LinkingLives.uk, High Street Baptist Church, Hector’s House and Home-Start Herts.

As a result of the meeting, a steering group was formed and will be meeting early in October to formulate a plan to address loneliness and social exclusion in Tring, and details will be publicised when the plan is finalised. It is anticipated, that this will be in December sometime with a start to implement in January 2019.
