Tring Pilates Studio has Relocated

Living Magazines Tring Pilates Studio

Tring Pilates Studio has recently moved to the tranquil setting of Church Farm at Aldbury. Pilates Instructor Liz van Hullen tells us about it.

The Tring Pilates Studio opened in September 2000 and has since developed a strong reputation across the Home Counties for excellence in remedial and recreational Pilates. Many clients have been coming to the Studio since it was opened and our client base includes people of all ages and physical abilities.

An extensive range of equipment includes Reformers, a Cadillac, CoreAligns, Exo Chairs and so much more. Most of this specialised equipment is very closely aligned to that developed by Joseph Pilates during the 1st World War to help with the rehabilitation of seriously injured veterans.

Continuing on that theme, the team at Tring Pilates Studio are highly trained and hugely experienced in working with clients to achieve specific goals, be that maintenance, enhanced fitness and sport performance, rehabilitation or pain management. We work with a maximum of 3 clients per hour to ensure exercises are appropriate, carried out correctly and specific needs are met.

The relocation of Tring Pilates Studio is timely and heralds the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions and social distancing measures. The new studio offers plenty of space so that clients can still maintain social distancing, it is based on the ground floor with disabled access, all facilities are also on the ground floor, and there is plenty of parking on site.

The move to a slightly rural setting has been met with a positive response all around. A peaceful studio environment from which we can continue to help our clients,  the studios are looking out onto open countryside, there is a really friendly atmosphere within Church Farm itself, the Musette café on site, the village of Aldbury offers a local shop, well known pub, easy access to Tring, Berkhamsted, Tring Station, Ashridge walks … what is there not to like?

The beauty of Pilates is that anyone, any age or ability can get started and concentrate at their own level on developing core strength, balance, posture and flexibility. In many cases Pilates exercises require more thought than other workouts that rely on only repetition, which, of course, has the added benefit of keeping the mind engaged and alert. Tring Pilates Studio is committed to working with clients to achieve all this and would be happy to answer any questions.
