Tring Radio ran a competition in September on Simon Ellson’s #BusinessDrive in conjunction with The Musical Theatre Factory.
The MD of The Musical Theatre Factory, an actor, director and live theatre performer generously gave away a ‘Personal Theme Tune’ prize. The idea is, take your special moment, your favourite artists, favourite musical or theatre production, favourite songs, and Michael’s team will create your very own theme tune. The winner was local girl Natalie Spence who co-incidentally is also an afternoon presenter on Tring Radio. To say Natalie was thrilled is an understatement.
The pair were interviewed live on Monday on Simon’s show where they went through the creative process. Michael now has 4 weeks to work up the final theme tune and Natalie will perform it live on the show in November.
How is this business related and therefore on Simon’s show? Michael’s business is brand new, resulting from lockdown and the fact that all the theatres and the arts in general are closed. They also spent 10 minutes discussing the state of the arts generally and what Michael and Natalie wanted from the Government to support the endeavours of those in this industry.
Also on the show was Berkhamsted business woman Tanya Lambert from Tanya’s Just Real.
Tring Radio would like to support Michael and Natalie in their struggle to help keep their industry alive and are grateful for Michael’s generous offer for the show and the station from a new business. The full hour is available on Listen Again.
