Tring to Snowdonia and Back on a Bike

Living Magazines Tony Evans Glaudax Cycle Tours

Berkhamsted resident Tony Evans, known for his voluntary work as Front of House Director at the Court Theatre Tring, has set up a long-distance cycle touring business, Glaudax Cycle Tours, in partnership with his brother, Richard. They are offering 6-day tours to Snowdonia and back at around 80 miles per day as detailed on their website: www.glaudax.co.uk.

The tours start and finish in Aldbury at Musette Cafe, popular with cyclists. The first tour departs on 2 May with further tours leaving on 30 May, 20 June and 29 August. Given the uncertainty due to Covid restrictions, Glaudax are offering flexible payment terms and a full refund guarantee if they have to cancel any of their tours.

The Snowdonia Tour package includes hotel and guest house accommodation, luggage transfer and a rescue service for riders in difficulty or simply too tired to continue pedalling.

The route is typified by quiet lanes and spectacular scenery and was designed by Richard, an ultra-distance cyclist who has cycled round the world and is an experienced club ride organiser. Tony and Richard have ridden the course to check that every inch of the way meets their high standards. They will accompany every tour providing the luggage transfer and rescue services and look forward to welcoming local cyclists on one of their tours.
