Tring’s Brand New Book Festival

As we’ve mentioned previously, a brand new book festival is coming to Tring this autumn – and it looks set to be a stellar event.

Running from 8-17 November, it will include authors, actors, politicians, poets and opinion formers including poet Carol-Ann Duffy (pictured), actor Ben Miller and TV anthropologist Dr Alice Roberts, who will appear at a series of events including debates, interviews, presentations and workshops.

The events will take place at various locations across the town, including the David Evans Court Theatre, the Natural History Museum, Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, Tring School’s Desborough Hall and the High Street Baptist Church.

At the time of going to press full details were still to be announced, but more can be found at www.tringbookfestival.co.uk. They are looking for volunteers to help the events run smoothly, so if you can offer your services check out the website for details of how to apply.
