Unique Opportunity for Local Art Students

HVAF Student Membership

An exclusive chance to showcase and develop art is newly available to Herts-based art students. Herts Visual Arts Forum is the premier artist community in the county, with a theme of ‘inclusivity’ for the coming year. The not-for-profit organisation has created a unique opportunity for arts-based students by launching a new student membership.

This innovative community for artists and people who love art aims to empower and inspire the next generation of creatives by providing each student with:

  • Their own online gallery to showcase their work.
  • Members’ events throughout the year to exhibit, learn from and meet other artists.
  • Social media to raise their profile.
  • Advice and support to nurture their talent.

‘We have over 300 members and actively help each other develop as artists and makers,’ says Sally Taylor, chair of Herts Visual Arts Forum, a not-for-profit organisation. ‘Our membership includes art lovers and makers across all forms of media.

‘As part of our commitment to inclusivity, we want all artists to be able to participate fully and be recognised in the artistic community, regardless of backgrounds, identities, or perspectives. Offering a special opportunity to students is part of this goal.

We’d love to help students grow their skills and confidence as artists. The support, networking and events available complement their courses to realise their potential.’

To make the most of this rare opportunity, students should visit hvaf.org.uk.
