Walk Dacorum Virtual Challenge

Active Dacorum have partnered once again with The Mayor’s Office, to bring you a new fundraising challenge for the month of March. Following on from the success of last October’s Your Town 5k/10k challenge there have been numerous requests for another virtual challenge. So here we are…

Over the 31 days of March, Dacorum residents are invited to walk 154,800 steps (if you didn’t know – this is the current population of Dacorum residents) at their own leisure.

To take part in the virtual challenge, Active Dacorum are asking for a minimum ticket donation of £5.00, where all proceeds will be donated to the Mayor’s chosen charity, the Daisy Cave Foundation. The charity provides grants to disabled children and young people to help support their independence. All participants that take part will receive a medal at the end of the challenge.
