Walk with Dinosaurs this Half Term
Five full size dinosaurs are visiting Tring this spring half term on Thursday 17 and Friday 18 February.
Why?
Tring Town Council wants people to have some fun and come back to The High Street for shopping and leisure. Tring is a vigorous community led town with shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, two museums and the wonderful Tring Park. From Domesday to 2022. A market town with easy routes to the world.
How?
Dacorum Borough Council has been awarded Government money under the Welcome Back Fund Thank You Department for Levelling up Housing & Communities and the European Regional Development Fund.
James Doe, Strategic Director of Place at Dacorum Borough Council says: ‘We are pleased to be able to use these ERDF funds to support this event, and we look forward to continuing to support our local towns with these exciting initiatives. We hope residents and visitors alike enjoy the trail and our borough’s town centres with all they have to offer.’
When and Where?
Four in the Memorial Garden and then a stroll down below the Forge Car park from ten to three to another outside the recently Arts Council Accredited Local History Museum. Visit the Museum at the same time.
Who?
All ages from parents with children, grandparents, adults. All to have a smile on their faces before time in the High Street for shopping, meals etc.
