Witness Appeal after Serious Road Traffic Collision on A41

Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following a road traffic collision on the A41.
Police were called at around 5.50am today (Monday 17 March) to reports of a road traffic collision on the A41 southbound, prior to the junction for Chesham, involving a black Land Rover Velar and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion causing serious injury by careless driving and remains in custody.
Road closures currently remain in place on both sides of the carriageway.
Sergeant Luke Jenkins, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: ‘Our enquiries are continuing, and I am appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.
