Can You Help Nadine get a Running Place for Boston Marathon?
Nadine Brower will take part in this years Tokyo marathon on Sunday 3 March 2024 but is in need of a running place for the Boston Marathon on Sunday 15 April 2024 to complete the Six Star Abbots Award.

She is aiming to complete a six-star award with Abbott World Majors. The Abbott World Marathon Majors is six of the most renowned marathons in the world. They are, London, Berlin, Chicago, NYC, Tokyo and Boston.
Nadine Brower, a model at Elliot Brown Agency and director at Kinetic Contracts Ltd, a construction company, will be taking part in this year’s Tokyo Marathon. Last year Nadine completed Berlin, Chicago and NY marathons within a six week period from each other, so four down, two to go. Prior to running marathons Nadine had only ever run a 5k charity run for cancer awareness.
Nadine continues to be inspired by her father Eddie Brower, who is recovering from Covid but struggles to walk for long periods having spent 3 months in a coma and two years in hospital and rehabilitation.
She told us: ‘I love running! The short runs are fun, but the long runs are a challenge, every time I go out I feel I learn something new about the run, my body and mind, it’s different each time!
‘I am needing a place for the Boston Marathon to complete my challenge! I’m hoping someone will see this article who can help me get a running place for this year’s Boston marathon, I’m training for Tokyo and Boston is 6 weeks after, so my training is nearly done and it makes it much easier as long as I get enough rest between the races.
‘I’m hoping maybe someone who entered Boston marathon who can’t make the race will contact me to take their place for 2024. Otherwise, I will have to wait until 2025 and try and get a running place then. It will be my last marathon to achieve the six star Abbott award.’
Nadine trains locally at Champney’s Tring, and you may see her running on the country roads.
