BJazz at the Civic Centre, Berkhamsted, 8pm. Currently the most in demand group on British Jazz Scene emanating the great guitar/sax combinations of the past and driven by the Hammond organ of Ross and the drumming of Joel.
High Street Baptist Church, Tring, 7.30pm. An evening with the extraordinary author of eleven novels, including the Booker Prize winning Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha and the Commitments, which went on to be made into a film (and he co-wrote the screenplay).
Baptist Church Tring, 8pm. Liz Young was one of the last students to be enrolled in the Bookbinding course at The London College of Printing in 1994. Her talk will cover the development of bookbinding from being a hand craft to now being handled by machines.
