How to Leave your Comments on the Proposal to Extend Luton Airport

As mentioned previously there is now further opportunity to make your views known to the Planning Inspectors on the proposed airport expansion plans, as part of the development consent order for Luton Airport.

There are a couple of ways of leaving your comments, the first is a shortcut. Please note that the deadline for all comments is 23.59 on Friday 23 June 2023.

Take the hyperlink national-infrastructure-consenting.planninginspectorate.gov.uk/register-have-your-say/TR020001 where you can register and leave your comments with the Planning Inspectorate. Having left comments, you will automatically be updated on future news and notices.

How to leave comments on the proposal to extend Luton airport (full process):

You may have already seen the Luton Rising webpage inviting anyone to give their views on London Luton Airport’s application to grow its airport. The hyperlink to the webpage is  mailchi.mp/305e25927ac8/grow-our-airport-give-your-views?e=cc390e21e5. At the bottom of the page there is a button HAVE YOUR SAY. When you click on that it takes you to the Luton Rising representation webpage lutonrising.org.uk/dco-representation.

This webpage gives a hyperlink to another website which is the Planning Inspector’s website where you will leave your comments. The hyperlink is  infrastructure.planninginspectorate.gov.uk/projects/eastern/london-luton-airport-expansion.

Now you have access to the Documents provided to support Luton Rising and the Inspector’s process. There are four tabs. Click the registration form tab and at the bottom of that page you have a button ‘Register to have your say’.

Click on the Register to have your say button and that takes you to national-infrastructure-consenting.planninginspectorate.gov.uk/register-have-your-say/TR020001 finally, you can get down to the business of registering and submitting your comments.

The Luton Rising webpage lutonrising.org.uk/dco-representation also provides direction on the many alternative methods available for you to leave your comments.
